4320 participants on the Women's Run in Budapest
07 October 2010

There were more than 4000 participants on the Coca Cola Women's Run in Budapest! Women could choose the 10 km running, the 3,1 km running, the 3,1 km walking. Also, the 10 km could be divided between two runners and run in a relay.

The race started from the City Park and after a round in the Park lead along Andrassy Street. The park was filled with cheerful women and girls who despite the cloudy, late autumn cool weather had a wonderful time!

Budapest has become a Top List Destination

This year Budapest has become one of the stops among the most important tours in Europe according to the 2010 edition of the world's largest guide book publishers and tourist information service. In the "Grand Tour" of Lonely Planet besides London, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Vienna, Berlin, Dubrovnik, Athens and Istambul readers are invited also to the Hungarian capital. Primarily the book calls attention to the lively café culture, to the special collection of new and old buildings, memories, to the Buda Castle and thermal baths.

According to the recent cultural research of BTH Budapest Tourist Non-profit Ltd. guide books pay the most important role among sources of information used during travel, followed by information offices and maps.
