Budapest is also featured on the toplist of The New York Times

The prestigious The New York Times presents in its weekend supplement the 41 places which should be visited during 2011. Budapest is mentioned twice in "The 41 places to go in 2011". The Hungarian capital is first being mentioned on the 11th place in reference with shipping on the Danube. Then the authors mention the "ruin pubs": these are mentioned on the 40th place, especially embedded in a section about Budapest.

4320 participants on the Women's Run in Budapest

There were more than 4000 participants on the Coca Cola Women's Run in Budapest! Women could choose the 10 km running, the 3,1 km running, the 3,1 km walking. Also, the 10 km could be divided between two runners and run in a relay.

The race started from the City Park and after a round in the Park lead along Andrassy Street. The park was filled with cheerful women and girls who despite the cloudy, late autumn cool weather had a wonderful time!

The race center of the 15th Coca Cola Women's Run will be situated in Varosliget (City Park) at the Olof Palme Promenade. Opening hours: 17 October 2010: from 8:30 am to 11:45 am
